A very old stone cabin dedicated for hunting and facing the castle of Nymphenberg from the other side of the canal. the view and the lake in front is awesome. with 4 status of hunters on each corner and a deer statue in the cabin. i visited in frozen december and the lake was an icekating arena. but with awesome scenery. i will visit again in the summer. definitely worth a walk summer or winter.{Jan 2023}. [Aug 2023]. The visit was worth it in the Summer, great cool feeling around the trees, you get to see the Deer inside and get a long look at the Castle from this side.

Here are my top reasons for visiting this area in Munich’s neighborhood Nymphenburg: 1) you can catch the sunrise sitting on a bench or going for a walk along the canal 2) get energized by going for a run along the canal or 3) take an afternoon stroll on a Sunday while doing people watching. You can treat yourself with a coffee and Italian desert from nearby Cinque Panini Kiosk (8 min walk).

The fountain was built between 1903 and 1907. Inside the building is the actual fountain and the statue of a deer . very relaxing place. you can start from here and go straight to Nymphenburg palace

Great place to enjoy the view on the Schloss canal. Unfortunately the entrance is closed and the wonderful fountain inside can be only seen from outside through a gate.
